Accessibility
BrightYears should be usable by people with different vision, motor, attention, and cognitive needs.

Our approach
We aim for readable type, strong contrast, keyboard-accessible navigation, semantic HTML, useful alt text, and layouts that work on small screens.
Because BrightYears is a cognitive training product, clarity and predictable interaction matter as much as visual polish.
Standards
Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the marketing site and the Journal. We audit pages incrementally as the surface area grows and treat regressions as quality bugs.
If a page falls short of that bar, we want to hear about it. Specific URLs and screen-reader output help most.
Known limits
Some interactive app experiences may depend on timing, recognition, or memory tasks by design. We still try to keep controls clear and avoid unnecessary friction.
The website and Journal are the first surfaces we audit when making accessibility improvements.
Report an issue
If something is hard to access, email support@brightyears.app with the page URL, device, browser, and a short description of the issue.
Accessibility reports are treated as product quality reports, not general feedback.
